From Toulouse Airport.
Leaving the airport follow the sign for Toulouse, then signs for Albi. These will lead you round the Toulouse ring road to the péage (tollgate) for the A68 to Albi. (Toll 1.30 euros). Stay on the A68 until exit 9 for Gaillac/Cordes. From Gaillac take the D 964 towards Castelnau de Montmiral. Go through Castelnau towards Puycelsi. A couple of KMs after Puycelsi – you will see the fortified village up on your right – you will come into a small hamlet with a stone barn on the right and two houses on the left. The second house has pale blue shutters. Between these two houses is a small track – very easily missed! – with a sign for Pont Bourguet. Go left onto this track and follow it over the bridge and to the château.
  From Paris and the North.
From Calais/Boulogne follow signs to Paris then to Orléans/Bordeaux. From central Paris go to Porte d’Orléans and follow signs for Orléans/Bordeaux. This will get you onto the A10/E5. At Orléans take the A71/E9 towards Vierzon/Limoges/Toulouse. At the Vierzon péage take the A20/E9 towards Limoges and Toulouse. Stay on this motorway until the Caussade exit.
Go through Caussade following signs for Gaillac, then Montricoux. Go through Montricoux towards Bruniquel. At Bruniquel take the road (the D 964) signposted Gaillac and Larroque. Around four KMs after Larroque you will come into a hamlet on a sharp bend. The first house on the right has pale blue shutters. Turn right into what appears to be the second entrance to this house, but is in fact a small track. Follow the track over the bridge and to the château.
